Minimum releases continue at Buford Dam

06/27/2017 - The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers continued only minimum water releases from Buford Dam last month as Lake Lanier crept closer to full pool. The Corps returned to normal operations on three other reservoirs the ACF basin which reached full by June 1. "Releases from Lake Lanier will continue to be just for water-quality and water-supply requirements at this time," said Lisa Hunter, Corps Mobile District Public Affairs Officer.
